WALLER — Waller High School senior Nick Morris advanced to the UIL State Congress Meet.
At the Regional competition, Morris competed against 50 schools to qualify for State. Modeled after the United States Congress, students draft, debate, and vote on legislation. Morris, along with other students, debated various pieces of legislation for six hours during Regionals.
Morris earned his berth to State for his fourth and final year. He will represent WHS at State on Jan. 11-12, 2022, in Austin.
